Maria João Almeida Gomes is a specialist in planning and public policy, with extensive international experience. She currently serves as Head of Planning and Control and Deputy to the Board of Directors at the Agency for Integrated Wildland Fire Management (AGIF), where she leads the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the National Plan for Integrated Wildland Fire Management 2020-2030 and its Action Programme.
